LinkedIn for Leaders: How to attract FAANG recruiters

LinkedIn: Your 24/7 Salesman
Recruiters don't search for "Developers." They search for Solutions. Your LinkedIn profile should be a beacon that signals you are the answer to their most expensive problems.
1. The Headline Strategy
Don't use "Software Engineer at X." That's generic. Use: "Senior .NET Architect | Specialized in High-Scale Distributed Systems & AI Engineering | Helping companies scale to 1M+ users." This tells a recruiter exactly what value you bring before they even click your profile.
2. The 'About' Section: Your Story
Write in the first person. Tell the story of your technical journey. Focus on the **Scale** you've handled and the **Complexity** you've solved. End with a "Call to Action" like: "Always open to discussing high-scale system design or AI integration—feel free to DM."
3. Recommendations: Social Proof
A recommendation from a CTO or a Peer is worth 100 'Endorsements'. Ask for specific feedback: "Could you write 2 sentences about how I lead the XYZ migration?" Specificity builds trust; generic praise doesn't.
4. Career Mastery
Q: "How often should I post on LinkedIn?"
Architect Answer: "Quantity is less important than Authority. Post once a week, but make it a 'Deep Dive'. Share an architectural challenge you solved, a bug that stumped you, or a new tech you're excited about. Your goal is to be seen as a **Thought Leader**, not just a worker. Recruiters follow experts, not posters."
