CRUD List Page Pattern

Setup & DOM ✓Events Effects AJAX ✓Perf & IntegrateShip & Projects

Perf & Integrate · 3 — Harden · ~10 min · App Integration

What is this?

A CRUD list combines: load rows (GET), render with text, delegated edit/delete, modal confirm, POST/PUT/DELETE, toast, and reload. Keep functions small and named.

Why should you care?

Most QueryVerse admin screens are variations of this pattern.

What happened?

  • Swap the in-memory array for $.getJSON/$.ajax in production.
  • Keep render pure.
  • Confirm before delete when data is precious.

Practice next

  1. Add and delete items.
  2. Reload to re-render.
  3. Replace rows with API data later.
  4. Disable Add while POST flies.
  5. Optimistic UI with rollback on fail.

Remember

Load → render → mutate → render. Delegate row actions. Toast outcomes.

Admin list CRUD

A Freshservice QueryVerse category list supports add/delete before the API is wired.

Outcome: The pattern is ready to swap local rows for AJAX.
