What is this?

each(fn) iterates a collection; inside, this is the DOM element and arguments are (index, element). Return false to break early.

Why should you care?

QueryVerse bulk validates or paints rows without converting everything to arrays first.

What happened?

  • Prefer .map when building arrays of values.
  • Avoid heavy DOM writes inside each without batching.
  • $(selector).each is not the same as $.each(object).

Practice next

  1. Run and see muted offline hub.
  2. Break early with return false when bad===1.
  3. Use $.each on a plain array.
  4. Accumulate with an outer array.
  5. Call .each on $("input").

Remember

each walks collections. this = DOM node. return false breaks.

DC health paint

A Dunzo logistics QueryVerse screen marks offline dark stores from data-ok flags.

Outcome: each toggles muted and counts failures.
